Quick question, Al.
What's your level of boredom and how much motivation do you have?

So... I have a quick question. It's a bit of an odd one, given that we're under the sea and all, but does it ever get cold enough around here to ice skate?
And as a follow-up, is there anywhere around here to skate?

VOICE.
VOICE.
It does take a bit of learning to get used to it.

VOICE.
Um... what's your name, though?
VOICE.
[There was a pause and a soft, embarrassed laugh.] O- oh! where are my manners. Please forgive me. I'm Canada. Or Matthew Williams.
VOICE.
You... have two names? [now she sounds very much awed.] How come? And which do you prefer to be called?
O-oh... sorry. I'm Xion. [when confronted with something new, she immediately becomes excited and asks a barrage of questions. this is typical of her.]
VOICE.
It's a pleasure to talk with you, Xion. [He didn't seem to mind the questions. He just hoped he could explain it easily enough without making everything too overly complicated.] It's a bit difficult. Formally, I'm Canada. Which, back home, would mean that I'm the representation of a country. Having another name makes it easier to interact with humans on a more casual basis. B- but, anyway. I prefer Matthew or Matt. It's less formal.
VOICE.
so she's careful with everyone here by default, just in case.] Sure... when?
[a looooooooooong pause, as she tries to digest this bit. try as she might, it's beyond her comprehension how anyone can represent a country unless they're ...what's the word? a diplodocus... no! diplomat. diplomat.]
I can't say I get it. Unless you're a diplo---ah. Diplomat? But that's more of a title anyway, right? I think.. But. Um... it's nice to talk to you too.
VOICE.
after he managed to drag his own lazy self out of bedin the mornings.]It's okay. We're from different worlds, correct? And I understand that it's quite a foreign concept to try and understand. But to answer the question... I suppose, in a way, you could say I'm a diplomat. But I really am a physical manifestation of a country as well.
VOICE.
Yeah. It really is kind of... beyond me, I guess you can say. [long pause.]
That's so cool!
