When you asked me to do this organisational part for you, I had assumed that there would have been more than five people interested. If you can't organise a game of catch between five people, then I'm quite disappointed in you. Since there seems to be some new arrivals, I'll make one more announcement for their sake.

Since there seems to be some new arrivals, I'd like to once more mention that a few of us are hoping to put together a large enough group to play baseball. If you're interested, please just let me know somehow. Even a brief 'count me in' works just fine. I'm hoping to have a finalised list within the next few days. Thank you.

Then why have me organise at all?! You could have easily of said 'show up on this day' and been done with it. I was asked to do it one way, and that's exactly what I'm doing. The pre-planning way.

Which is exactly why 'show up on this day' wouldn't have been very efficient, hence the need for a cut-off date and head count. You just went out of your way to prove my point right. I'm rather touched by that.

To know how much one needs, you have to know how many people are interested. If people just show up, then you have a very good chance of being short on equipment because you had no way to accurately pre-plan such information.
